What an incredible season it's been! As we reflect on the past 18 months at The Center for Spiritual Formation and Retreat, our hearts are filled with deep gratitude for all that we’ve been able to accomplish. It’s been a time of growth, learning, and abundant blessings. We’d love to share a few of the highlights with you, as well as our dreams for the future.
Highlights from 2023 and 2024:
Growth in Spiritual Direction: Our spiritual direction work has expanded by 20%, allowing us to walk alongside even more individuals in their journeys of faith.
Spiritual Formation Cohorts: Over 40 people joined us in spiritual formation cohorts, where we delved into spiritual practices, prayer, and the love of God.
Retreats: We hosted a retreat focused on God’s love and our identity in Christ, creating space for reflection and renewal in the lives of many.
Support for Our Partner Church: We had the privilege of supporting a partner church during a pastoral transition, walking with them through a challenging but fruitful season.
Workshops and Denominational Engagement: We led district workshops and participated in a denominational Spiritual Director’s group, helping to further the ministry of spiritual formation across wider circles.
This year has been incredibly productive and transformative, but we truly believe this is just the beginning. We are filled with anticipation for what’s to come in the next year.
Dreams for 2025:
Expand Spiritual Direction Offerings: We plan to expand our spiritual direction offerings even further, providing more opportunities for one-on-one guidance and growth.
Longer-Term Group Spiritual Direction Cohorts: We are excited to launch longer-term group spiritual direction cohorts to foster community and deeper connection over time.
More Retreats: We hope to host 1-2 more retreats, providing additional spaces for individuals to deepen their spiritual lives and relationship with God.
